The Boston Tigers were a minor professional team in Boston, Massachusetts. The franchise played in the Canadian-American Hockey League throughout its entire existence from 1926-1936. They were founded as a farm team of the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League. The team went thorugh several name changes throughout its life. They were known as the Tigers from 1926-31, the Boston Cubs from 1931-33, the Boston Tiger Cubs in 1933-34, the Boston Bruin Cubs in 1934-35, and the Boston Bruins in 1935-36. They won the league championship in 1928-29, 1932-33 and 1934-35. They folded in 1936.
