A Saltsucker is an Octopus-like creature from the southern deserts and no relation to Octopi, but are often mistaken for them due to their many tentacles covered in suckers. They will graze harmlessly on the salt in mammalian skin, so long as the mammal remains still. Violent movements will alarm the creature however causing it to wrap its tentacles tightly around the mammal's body while gnawing the body with a beak-like mouth.
