After months of fighting, the Resistance formed a partnership with the Hidden Beks, the most powerful of the swoop gangs also fighting against the Mandalorians, and with the help of Republic fugitives Zayne Carrick and Marn Hierogryph, the two groups formulated a plan to deal a stunning blow to their enemies by killing Cassus Fett, the strategic brains behind the Mandalorian siege. But as Carrick, Hieogryph and several Resistance and Bek agents traveled to Fett's base, Fett discovered the site of the Resistance stronghold and launched a surprise attack that caught the Resistance unaware. The Resistance was quickly routed, with most of its members either being killed by the Mandalorians or fleeing into the depths of the Undercity to meet violent ends at the teeth and claws of the monstrous rakghoul beasts. However, Goravvus managed to survive and flee Taris, later becoming a celebrated advocate for refugees and those at risk of war.
