| - The Parada system was an inhabited planetary system. The largest planet in this system, Parada IV, had seven moons. Another planet in the system was the inhabited Parada II. This system was located in the Gamma Quadrant, one hour and fourteen minutes from the Bajoran wormhole, at maximum warp, aboard a Starfleet runabout. (DS9: "Whispers") According to the script, the pronunciation for Parada was "pah-RAH-dah". [1] According to StarTrek.com, Parada was the name of the system's primary. The web site stated that a planet, other than Parada II and Parada IV, in this system was recovering from a civil war in the 2370s. According to Star Trek: Star Charts (p. 74), the Parada system was a binary star system with a B-class star and a F-class star.
