abstract	Block City is a battle stage in Mario Kart: Double Dash!!. Block City is a Battle Stage in the Mario Kart: Double Dash!! Battle Mode. It is similar to Block Fort in Mario Kart 64 and Block Plaza in Mario Kart Wii. The stage takes place up in the sky as a floating platform with high walls so that players cannot fall off. Blocks are obviously seen here, every one having a different color. This stage is one of the easiest battle stages in this game. Players cannot go up ramps to the top of a block, and they cannot go on a bridge connecting one block to another. However, there is a gray and tan colored block that players can go into because there is a pathway cut through it. There is a hood over this block, sort of like saying it's a hiding spot (although there are lines pointing at the person so that the other battle racer can know where that racer is). There is also a blocked part in one of the corners so that no one can get over to the next turn because the pathway on the next turn is higher than the pathway beside it.
