| - Arena of Atlantis (AoA), a new form of PvP that offers fair and balanced matches, has been added Select your main character and mercenaries to create an endless amount of formations and strategies to defeat your opponents
* You will be able to ban specific mercenaries from being used during your match
* You cannot select the same mercenaries your opponent chooses Arena of Atlantis is available to players of any level
* Your gear, your level, the level of your mercenaries and skill levels do not count in this form of PvP A new rating system specifically for Arena of Atlantis has been added
* This new system is based on ELO rating. This means you will be matched with an opponent of equal skill
* Every player will begin with 1,000 ELO rating
* Rating cannot be lower than 800
* If you win a match, your ELO rating will increase. However, if a match is lost, your ELO rating will decrease
* Your ELO rating will affect what Rank and Tier you’re placed in
* Ratings that correspond to each rank will change daily based on all players ratings. It will be updated at 6 AM server time
* Ratings will gradually decrease if you do not continue to participate in Arena of Atlantis A new Tier and Ranking system has been added
* Tiers determine how well you’re doing in your matches, while Ranking determines how you place overall on your server
* The new Tiers are as follows:
* Dragon Tier: Highest ranked player on the server (above 1500 rating)
* Phoenix Tier: 1500 rating
* Pegasus: 1400 rating
* Lion: 1300 rating
* Eagle: 1200 rating
* Wolf: 1000 rating
* Snake: 999 rating and below.
* Based on Tier, you will get a special buff after competing in Arena of Atlantis
* An image of your Tier will appear above your head in towns and regular fields
* When an Arena of Atlantis match ends, the result window will display yours and your opponents' battle records and ratings
* A tab titled 'My Info' is available from the Arena of Atlantis main menu
* This tab will provide information on the following:
* Rank
* Rating
* Number of matches participated in
* Number of wins
* A tab titled 'Merc. Encyclopedia' is available from the Arena of Atlantis main menu
* This tab will provide information on Main Characters and Mercenaries
* When selecting a Main Character or Mercenary, the information will be generated on a new, stylized window
* This window will provide the following information:
* Character description
* Stats
* Attack and Magic descriptions
* A tab titled 'Watch a Match' is available from the Arena of Atlantis main menu
* This tab will populate a list of current matches. You will be able to view matches that are currently in progress
* A tab titled 'AoA Tips' is available from the Arena of Atlantis main menu
* This tab will provide simple information on the following:
* Mercenary selection and ban phases
* Recommended Mercenaries for each row
* Tips on how to set your formation
* Battle Menu explaining action power, attack range, magic, stun, move and guard
* You will be able to view, and search for, players ranks via the Rank tab
* You will be able to view the rating requirements for each tier from the Tier tab
* Each turn during battle will last 45 seconds
* You can retreat 5 minutes after your match starts
* If you retreat, you will not lose gold or experience. However, you will lose the match
* Auto-Battle function is not available for Arena of Atlantis
* You cannot participate in Arena of Atlantis if you are in MyHome or Titan server
* You cannot participate in Arena of Atlantis if you’ve applied to participate, or are already participating, in events such as Free League or Infinite Challenge
* You cannot participate in Arena of Atlantis, or go to the Arena of Atlantis Shop, if you are in the tutorial area
* Upon completing a match, you will earn experience based on the amount of AoAP (Arena of Atlantis Points) obtained for winning or losing the match
