The Albinoid is the result of the t-Virus having been injected into Salamanders. The effect is as usual with simpler animals injected with t-Virus, considerable growth with some mutation.

- The player finds this creature fully grown in a water pool, and it's dangerous in this environment. If the player enters the water, the Albinoid will shock the entire area, making it extremely difficult not to get hurt. The player is better off killing it while it swims around the edge of the pool, instead of the player entering the water. It is then possible to retrieve the Eagle Plate from the centre of the pool without killing the Albinoid, but the player must be quick.
- The Albinoid was developed at Umbrella's Rockfort Island research facilty by combining the DNA of a salamander with the Tyrant virus. The T infection caused the subject to grow considerably and even caused it to develop the ability to generate electricity within its body that it could expel to shock prey. The creature also developed increased reproductive capability, allowing it to produce a large number of offspring. Infant Albinoids possessed weaker electric shocks but proved to be quite dangerous in large numbers, especially when released into an enclosed space. An infant Albinoid's growth cycle is remarkably fast and it can mature into an adult mere hours after birth.
