Amber quickly appraised the staff and found the longest-trained employee, an aging lady known as Cora Duna. Cora told them what she knew about the manse, and hinted that it had a history of getting gambled away time and time again by the owners. Amber quickly promoted Cora, who was a touch skeptical but very grateful. With Fern's ability and a few days of analysis, the manse was returned to its former glory. The collapsed roof was restored and the Air essence redirected into the water in the proper way, allowing beings to breathe comfortably in the water. Furthermore, it became clear that the manse was designed for underwater concerts, given the different qualities of sound underwater. The Speckled Water requires maintenance as the Roost does, but not as severely. It requires at least fifty people per month to be happily entertained within it for at least four hours apiece, and it allows for some rollover from month to month without getting too geomantically disrupted. The various inhabitants of Azure are aware of this and the casino drops its prices whenever business gets particularly slow, rare except in the worst winter months. Amber has provided this manse as a headquarters and gift to Tepet Carian, who now plays regular shows and is training the mortal Capo.
