  • *I am totally at a loss as to why this is nominated . It presents facts which I found very educational, stuff I didn't know about. Then it follows the facts with a punchline, that usually made me laugh or at least smile. I found it to be a very funny page. The dated feeling of most of the highlighted memes as they relate to movies, etc., can be fixed in the lede by dating it to a few years ago. Anyway, save. Aleister 20:05 10-9-'13 *:P.S. Reread it again, and just changed my mind. Not funny at all, when read as it is written. What I was doing was reading the last lines of a section as made-up comedy. So reverting my vote. Aleister 20:13 same day
  • # "It will run on ten hydrogen fuel cells smaller than a smartie though it will never melt in you'r hands" in the Intro got my interest. Overlong and needs proofreading but it has a strategy. The :Template:Game Consoles ensures that it can be found despite its fictionality. SPIKE/signature(23:53 19-Oct-13)
  • # Keepable now. SPIKE/signature(12:58 21-Sep-13)
  • # A real article, about a real "comedian", with a real comedy strategy: Misstate the source material. Ali does not seem like a good comedian, mostly specializing in racial stereotypes; and this article isn't the best ever, mostly replacing the truth about Ali with the exact opposite without using the change to make a clever point, but it is trying to do what we try to do. SPIKE/signature(11:18 15-Sep-13) #Per Spike. Aleister 15-9
  • #Keep. I just voted to save this good article deja vu style. Will take out the one quote too many. ALeIsTeR 15-9-'13 #:You didn't. I just have . It doesn't change a thing. Deleting Section 4 wouldn't help either. SPIKE/signature(23:59 15-Sep-13)
  • # I gave it a weak Keep in 2010 and worked on it thereafter. I saw Hitler in the first sentence and was sure I had not done enough, but the previous discussion makes clear his name is not spoken in vain. Perhaps the article itself should make it clearer. SPIKE/signature(22:10 21-Oct-13) #Per Spike, and I think I worked on this. Feature. Aleister 23-10 #:Evidently, you didn't. Otherwise it surely would have been. SPIKE/signature(17:38 23-Oct-13) #::I read it yesterday and it held my attention throughout. You either saved it or a ghost did. Aleister today
  • # This actually is a well-read and well-known page here. It was saved in the past with a large plurality of votes, and that alone should render it untouchable. A popular page, even though it isn't hilarious . Aleister Gandhi's Birthday, '13 # What Al said. Except the bit about stealing children - my parole officer may be reading. Pup (What's good for the goose is good for the Ghandi, '13)

  • *Former name with quotation marks was a pointless redirect that I have now deleted. SPIKE/signature(17:23 26-Sep-13)
  • *Puppy's opinion is more than opinion. Votes need to pertain to the contents of the page, and I will exercise the discretion to underweigh votes that do not pertain to the page. SPIKE/signature(12:17 24-Oct-13)
  • *Nomination withdrawn. SPIKE/signature(18:58 26-Sep-13)
  • *Vote closed. Nominator is allowed to renominate in one month; or you can try QVFD, where I am unsure whether the salient point is that it has only one contributor or, like a Parliamentary motion, it was "given to the body" and cannot be unmade. Having sought a vote and not gotten it, however, perhaps you had better not try work-arounds. SPIKE/signature(23:22 7-Oct-13)
  • *Article renamed. SPIKE/signature(18:35 12-Sep-13)
  • *Kept 6-0 in 2011. SPIKE/signature(13:29 2-Oct-13)
  • *Clock restarted as nominator was late to tag the article. SPIKE/signature(20:27 9-Sep-13)
  • * The article is poorly named, but as we already have an article named Fuck the author was limited in what he could do. Having said that we need a good article on Fuck, but there's a huge challenge - it ha been done before many, many times. Every attempt to create a new article on Fuck - or any of it's derivative forms - that I have seen over the time I've been active has been a copy of something I have read off-site. This is not a bad article, but what's good about it has been done too many times before to be classed as "original humour". PuppyOnTheRadio/sig3|07:54 28 Sep 2013 *All gone. In view of the strong argument in Puppy's non-vote, the weak argument in Aleister's "deja vu" vote, and the fact that Aleister already saved the illustration he wanted, citing the inevitability of this vote, I have huffed it with just a +4. SPIKE/signature(14:46 10-Oct-13)
  • *Further discussion at User talk:Aleister in Chains#2 Wizards 1 Cup on VFD SPIKE/signature(00:51 27-Oct-13)
  • *Another option is to move to Why?:I eat my own shit. SPIKE/signature(11:45 22-Oct-13)
  • * This has potential, even though it hasn't quite met it yet. Not a great article, but far from bad. PuppyOnTheRadio/sig3|09:13 22 Oct 2013 * Vote closed. No interest after 60 hours. SPIKE/signature(12:30 22-Oct-13)
  • *I will in fact regard this not as deletion of content but as an edit to remove censoring via and do the operation proposed above. SPIKE/signature(12:06 7-Oct-13)
  • *An article with an expired could be listed on QVFD to remind Admins to patrol it. But this article was tagged by the fallen-away Admin who invented Forest Fire Week, and the tag might require a second look. Author gets some good comedy pitches but fouls them off, with about one joke per section: The preoccupation with powers-of-two; "cunt time" and insults of the reader; communism and domination . "We all know what that means....'Nuff said." In short, it would be easy to make this funny, and the author tried and came close. SPIKE/signature(18:32 23-Oct-13)
  • *I abstained in 2010 when this was kept, 6-1; I was not here in 2007 when it survived, 4-5. SPIKE/signature(20:38 2-Oct-13)
  • *Low-quality meme-cruft humor, but it is a pretty complete article and was featured on the main page. SPIKE/signature(12:58 28-Oct-13) *:You may be confusing this article with Grue, which was a feature. This is not a feature, or a complete article. PuppyOnTheRadio/sig3|01:01 28 Oct 2013 *::Sorry, I was. A grue redirects there. SPIKE/signature(13:07 28-Oct-13) *Vote closed. Redirected to Grue. SPIKE/signature(12:34 31-Oct-13)
  • *The first sentence is true. The rest of the article is low-quality humor. I've deleted the dumb, disjoint list at Trivia. SPIKE/signature(10:34 24-Oct-13) *Was voted keep in 2005 as it was a “gateway” to Stalhor curse, which was then VFD'd in 2006. Other than the two editors saying they had re-written it, all the other votes suggested it be re-written. PuppyOnTheRadio/sig3|12:57 28 Oct 2013
  • *These pages led me to Symbol, which I think should pop up on this page as a new nomination. PuppyOnTheRadio/sig3|09:08 22 Oct 2013
