SecondThird go at Pee Review. I seriously considered the suggestions of the first pee review and the second and chopped, hacked, slashed, the long, unfunny bits into hopefully shorter, funnier pieces, as well as other improvements. I should mention that I'm going for VFH on this one, so suggestions toward that end would be great. 03:05, 14 December 2007 (UTC)

| - averaged. god, i hate this section.

| - only minor mistakes here and there, just one redlink. i'm not a huge fan of footnote-jokes, but yours work fairly well. good staggering of the images. maybe throw a __NOTOC__ on the top to hide the table of contents, sometimes they can just be annoying.

| - i like what you did with the images. if you decide to extend 'academia today', throw an image on there, of a nerd with a lab coat or something. maybe something similar for 'future of academia'.

intro:9
:great start, a solid introdutionc of where you're going with some funny thrown in for good measure. maybe one ore two sentences longer?
history never recovered:8
:the initial paragraph is good, though it could also use another sentence or two. the first part of the socrates part is great, but the second part drags a little. keep the 'demanded his suidide' part, though. the medieval part is weird, but then once you get it it becomes awesome. enlightnenment is also good, but maybe reconsider them fighting for 'weeks'. 'hours' or 'a day' might fit better. modenr day is pretty average, but ends very solidly. overall this is a great section, worthy of praise and adomiration.
academia today: N/A
:see 'future of academia' comments in this section
academia in fiction:9
:your examples here are consistently good, made me chuckle, and do not merit being brokes down just so i can say 'made me lol' for each of them. the only setback is the repetitive line at the end of each example, which is very good, but just a little too hard to read maybe make that line somewhat easier to grasp, otherwise great section.
academia's future:8
:i recommend either merging 'academia today' and 'academia's future', or extending both of them. 'today' doesn't seem to stand on its own. that being said, 'future' is a solid closing section.

| - your final score is a robust 41.9, placing it in the 'more than adequate, might be VFH' category. i would certainly support this for VFH, and would even go so far as to nominate it, once you make any changes you feel would be necessary. excellent work, this. as always, feel free to pick up the Gerryphone at any time.
