When anti-Dominion sentiment built up among the Cardassian soldiers following the lack of Dominion assistance to the sieged Cardassian troops on Septimus III and the beginning and destruction of Corat Damar's rebellion, Verisel had Gul Rantok clamp down on his troops, including ordering the arrest of some of them.
