| - Hrisskar Doomforge
- Lord Hrisskar Doomforge, Thane of the Doomforge Clan
- Born the son of Karg Chieftain, Hrisskar was destined to become the next Chieftain of Clan Koragg. His people lived in the dense, mountainous regions of north-eastern Cimmeria, closest to Vanaheim of all the Clans. He formed a strong bond with his year-younger friend Baragoth and the two shared their youth as proud and competative warriors. A nomadic culture, the Cimmerians travelled to another glen each winter. During the final days of Karg Chieftain, Clan Koragg finally settled down in an open and secluded region and built their own settlement, the centre of which was Stonetalon Keep. After the death of Karg and Hrisskar's step up to Chieftainship he made Baragoth his War Chief, his right hand. A task that He proved was right for him after a border conflict with the Vanir. Hrisskar fell in love with a beautiful Cimmerian women with similar coloured, flowing hair and eventually fathered a Son with Her. This child would be the future of Clan Koragg as Hrisskar had once been. The period of time between Hrisskar's rise to leadership and the invasion was a peaceful one, but no peace lasts. The Vanir unexpectedly drowned the northern regions of Cimmeria in a sea of red-headed warriors, raiding Koragg Village before its defenses could be prepared. Caught unprepared, Hrisskar had no choice but to abandon the Village to ruin and escort the villagers to safety. His warriors were sent to clash head on with the Vanir to distract them from the defenseless villagers but the scheming Ymir had ordered a second group of raiders to attack from the side. They slaughtered most of the women and children, Hrisskar's wife included who was carrying their unborn daughter at the time. Beset by grief, Hrisskar demanded the Clan disperse and flee for safety. The wise Clan shaman, Gromnar Earthfury, disappeared into the wilderness and never returned leaving Hrisskar to appoint Cadoc as his successor. As the weary defenders returned, with them they dragged the wounded and dead, among them was the bloodied body of Hrisskar's heir. Truly never recovering from the events of that time, Hrisskar grew protective and compassionate within, hidden by a veil of pride and power. The few who accompanied the Chieftain to the south eventually arrived at Conarch Village, unscathed by the invasion. There would be vengeance and they would be the ones to deliver it's cruel touch. In time there was a desicion to rebuild the Village and reclaim the lost ancestral land of Clan Koragg. On a travel to meet with a Kushite Merchant, the ship he had boarded was stranded in the port of Scarlet Tortage. Drowning his sorrows in the Tavern, he was approached by a stranger of great resemblance to his Wife, only younger. Her name was Swannoc and she was in a terrible condition of malnutrition and poverty. Hrisskar offered to fashion clothing from the leather carried by Pictish hunters on the outskirts of Tortage and Swannoc declared there would be a debt to him that she would one day repay. After eventually bartering passage from Tortage and returning home to Cimmeria, the two again met in the Tavern of Conarch. Here the young Bear Shaman joined Clan Koragg. Time passed and the Clan steadily drew more followers to it's cause. They were ready to strike against the Vanir and did so with hatred and glory. Three encampments of the dogs were razed to the ground and their owner's heads planted on spears. (I'll add to this later)
