| - George Gideon Weasley (born 1 April 1978) was a pure-blood wizard and middle-child of Arthur and Molly Weasley (née Prewett); younger brother of Bill, Charlie and Percy Weasley, twin brother of Fred Weasley and elder brother of Ron and Ginny Weasley. He attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1989 until 1996 where he was Sorted into Gryffindor. While at school, George was a known prankster alongside his brother, creating mischief within the halls of Hogwarts. They spent more time on their pranks and joke products than they ever did studying. Although George and his brother were popular within Hogwarts, there were some, like their older brother Percy, who felt their behaviour was demeaning to others and wished for them to stop. In their fourth year, George and his twin joined Harry's Court, Harry Potter's quasi-knightly order of friends. While previously a Beater on the Gryffindor Quidditch team, when they were scrapped in favour of multi-house teams, George and his brother joined the Phenomenal Phoenixes Quidditch team, captained by Harry, who played Seeker. In their final year, George and his brother dropped out of school to become successful entrepreneurs and opened up Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, a joke shop located in Diagon Alley. After opening up the shop, George married Jessie Bell, younger sister of close friend and fellow Gryffindor Katie Bell. With her, he had twin daughters; Frederica Katie "Freddie" Weasley, named after George's twin brother and his sister-in-law, Katie Bell, and Veronica Ginny "Ronnie" Weasley, named after his mother-in-law, Veronica Bell and his little sister, Ginny Weasley. The family built a house next to Fred and Lee Jordan's houses in Ottery St. Catchpole, just a short distance from the Burrow.
