The poet-king Azur was born sickly in an ancient kingdom located south of Ravinale. He spent most of his relatively short life bed-ridden, confined to a single room. He wrote prolifically from his bed, relegating most of the day-to-day matters of governing to his mother. His poems were mostly somber reflections on his boredom and suffering. He died at the young age of 26 and was buried in a tomb in the southern part of the Ashwan Desert. His tomb was later used by the Cult as a crypt of disposed books that the Cult doesn't want the people to read.
