Kenjiro was assigned to Team 8, much to his chagrin, along with Sato Yamamori and Ichigo Susuki. Kenjiro refers to his team as the "Loser Squad" since he views his team mates as having lame personalities, and none of them are well suited to direct combat. Kenjiro is also the president of the Shiori Tatsubaki fan club.
