The foreign relations of Iraq were disrupted in 2003 by the US-led invasion of Iraq, but resumed around 2004 and 2005 after the new government was established. The Kingdom of Iraq engages in relations with countries that have a sizable Iraqi minority or if relations would benefit both countries. Many countries have no relations with Iraq due to there not being much of a reason for it (factors such as geographical location are also considered). Foreign affairs in Iraq are managed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
