Born in Westminster and raised in Brent, both in North London, Camilla became known for participating in the first season of the BBC reality television series Fame Academy in 2002, before ultimately being eliminated. Following Daddy Cool, Camilla appeared as Crystal Gordon in Bad Girls: The Musical from previews in August 2007 to the show's closure in November 2007. She appeared as Aimee in the Channel 4 comedy series Plus One in 2008 and later that year appeared in Doctors on BBC One. Camilla played the role of Lee Ann in BBC Three's comedy series Lunch Monkeys in 2009.
