It is different fom the Drowned Chip because it is multi-directional, can be killed by moving objects, and appears like Chip is swimming rather than drowning in the water. It acts as a wall to the real Chip. In Tile World's Lynx mode, the Swimming Chip is read as a wall, allowing the level to be played if compliance is otherwise perfect.
