The Experimental Graphene armor is a recycling of an old idea using new technology. A case of Kevlar and liquid crystal (similar to the kind used in MJOLNIR armor) is wrapped around ten layers of graphene. The result is a very strong armor about 40% thicker than a civilian t-shirt.
