The Nissan 180SX Type X (Japanese:’96日産180 SXタイプX ) is a JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) Fastback Sports coupe produced from 1988 to 1998 By Nissan Motors in Japan. Equipped with a 202 Horsepower engine and excellent performance, the 180SX is popular among Japanese Touge Racers (Touge or ' 峠 'meaning 'Pass' in Japanese)The 180SX is still famed for it's performance as a drift car and this reputation persists to this day. The 180SX and it's cousin, the Silvia are both cars known in the drifting community worldwide and are widely sought after by enthusiasts. The Type X version of the 180SX ceased production in October 1997.
