Another day, another boring match. Everyone knew that Sonic would win, everyone knows that the Chaos division was set up to give us a Sonic/Samus 2, and everyone was beyond sick of the predictability by this point.

  • Another day, another boring match. Everyone knew that Sonic would win, everyone knows that the Chaos division was set up to give us a Sonic/Samus 2, and everyone was beyond sick of the predictability by this point. The only thing to really note about this match, aside from the hideously low prediction percentage for an icon like Sonic, was the fact that Dante was projected to get 40.43% according the 2003 stats. Sonic did 2.5% better than expected, but no sooner did people start giving Sonic a chance against Samus did everyone realize that Dante's picture in this match absolutely sucked. If a bad picture can hurt Solid Snake, then there is no reason to believe that it wouldn't hurt Dante as well. Sonic may have had a chance after this match, but we had yet to see Samus in action against Sora.
