Clarence Odell “Clancy” Lyall (October 14, 1925 - March 19, 2012) served with Easy Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, in the 101st Airborne Division of the United States Army during World War II. This unit would be popularized in the mini-series Band of Brothers based on the book by the same name. Clancy later served in the 82nd Airborne Division in post-war Germany and in 187th Parachute Infantry Regimental Combat team – The Rakkasans – in the Korean War. He also served in Indochina.
