| - Resurrection madness was a side effect of resurrection by Resurrection crystals. Sith resurrection crystals usually made the mind of the Sith unstable for months after resurrecting. There were several degrees of the madness, which two were shown in the Jedi Warrior Trilogy. Darth Vader had a lesser form of the madness, which made him repeat phrases he had already said. He muttered a lot to himself. He was also very rebellious to Palpatine. It seemed to have cleared almost entirely by the Battle of Zarnoth. Palpatine had a severe form of the madness. He went through phases in which he would scream at the top of his voice at people. During conversations, he would all of a sudden, out of the blue, bellow at someone one sentence, then the next be perfectly fine. When he became angry, he would become terrible. In one case, he killed two men by crushing their groins. In another case, he completely erased an entire squad of stormtroopers' minds. In another, he threw an entire Star Destroyer in the Mon Calamari ocean, destroying it and an entire city in the process. He would cackle incessantly while doing so. He was completely cured by the Battle of Zarnoth, where he was supposedly killed.
