The Cathar Honor Guard was never officially disbanded, but after the death of Gibranna at the hands of bounty hunter Ryluk Shouja, most of the Guard was shattered. The last ranking leader of the guard that survived, a captain, made an effort to kill the bounty hunter. The captain was eventually killed by his own lieutenant. The Guard never reorganized.
