- The Naiad is a nymph who enjoys the waters of the eastern shore of the Lakeside and the river near Murky Waters, where she delights in the presence of the Lady. However, drowners have lately been harassing her, most likely under their leader, Zephyr's orders, to the point of stealing her turquoise necklace, a gift from the Lady of the Lake. She is also a skilled healer and as one possible reward for services rendered, she grants the witcher the status of lifelong patient.
- Naiads (水精 (ナイアス) Naiasu) are mid- to upper-class water Demons and kin of Egyn. They are also known as Undine and are related to Nymphs.

- Naids can be very rude at times, and they like to play feisty tricks. They are also very conceited. When Kendra talks to them, they talk to each other, insulting her, like she isn't even there. Some Naiads can be kind, such as Lena. They are never aware of the future of past, and are instead always looking for amusement. They have no self-awareness. However, when the become mortal, they gain the knowledge of morality. They become more aware of time. They love singing sweet, naiadic tunes.

A Naiad individual was in a bar on Ryn III in 2336, gossiping about Starfleet covert operatives on the planet investigating the Orion Syndicate. - The Naiades were the nymphs of freshwater streams rivers and lakes, but were not limited to these water courses. Many Naiades could be found prancing around with Artemis, who chose 20 Naiades from Amnisus for companions. They were the daughters of river gods. They had extremely long lifetimes, but they were not considered immortal, and were believed to have sat in on the Gods discussions on Olympus. There were 5 types of Naiades: • Pegaiai, the Nymphs of Springs • Krenaiai , the Nymphs of Fountains • Potameides, the Nymphs of Rivers and Streams • Limnades or Limnatides, the Nymphs of Lakes • Eleionomai, the Nymphs of Marshes

The rig's director ordered a crewman to fire a flare into the oily waters around Mai's boat, engulfing it in flames. Horribly burned, Mai jumped overboard. - Naiads are the daughters of the Potamoi, the river gods. They are types of nymph which preside over fountains, wells, springs, streams, brooks, rivers, and marshes. They are further divided into various sub-classes:

* Limnades or Limnatides (lakes) The Naiads are intimately connected to their bodies of water, as their own existence seems to depend on it. If a spring dried out, the Naiad presiding over it might die.
- They were most commonly found in the Great River of Narnia. They are human-like in appearance, and are spiritually tied to the waters of Narnia. No physical description is given, but are depicted as pretty women dressed in gowns of aquatic colors, most commonly in blue, and sometimes wearing crowns of rushes around their heads. Their father and chief was the River god, who had a weedy beard. Other River Gods do exist, and are the male equivalent of Naiads.
