| - The birth of Caden itself wasn't complicated, the situation was. The mother, Katrina Fitzpatrick was a well respected force sensitive TIE-fighter pilot who served the Empire with pride. Until that is she fell in love with an Imperial prisoner, she couldn't help it. After meeting the man everything that was once important to her suddenly vanished. Realizing she had become pregnant, she devised a plan to bust him out of the Imperial Prison that held him captive. He really did nothing wrong she thought, he worked for the Alliance and therefore made him an enemy to the Empire. None of that mattered to her though. Unfortunately the plan was a bust. Caden's father was quickly gunned down by storm troopers before they could escape. Now an enemy and traitor to the Empire, Katrina fled in the Imperial Shuttle she stole, rendezvoused somewhere in the outer rim and stowed away in a freighter full of mercenaries and pirates heading somewhere in wild space. Caden was born in the medical facility on Zonju V in Zoronhed. Shortly after Katrina slipped into a deep depression. Far away from everything and everyone, being an outlaw and not being able to leave for fear of being captured. A few years went by and she met a man named Kyle Starwing who had a sister Karen Starwing. Once again she found love. Kyle did mercenary work, smuggling, and more famously swoop races. All for the support of his sister, and now his new lover Katrina. Caden connected quickly with the man and was enthused by the swoop bike races Kyle participated in. Katrina didn't like the idea of Caden's growing interest in swoops. She thought they were too dangerous, but as a curious young man Caden still insisted. Kyle would constantly have Caden walking into his garage and asking him "What's that, what's this do, can I help?". With patience, Kyle explained things just to amuse the young boy, never did he thought that one day Caden would take swoop races up on his own. As a young teen Caden was fixing up Swoop bikes as a part time job for a local vendor in Zoronhed. He was constantly learning new things due to the large amount of new and improved swoops that were coming out. Modifications of all kinds were also applied to those swoop racers who wanted that extra "edge", although Caden frowned upon cheating, it was a job. If he was old enough he felt he could enter the race and whoop them all just with his skill. Unfortunately, the small family could not hide forever. Caden was out watching Kyle do practice runs in the canyons when he heard a faint whine that sounded like a ship breaking into the atmosphere. Four Imperial transports on a recconnaissance mission had landed at the space port. At this site Caden had became a little worried, he wanted to tell Kyle but he was already half way down the canyon run by now. The teenage boy hopped on his swoop and sped off toward the space port. They were pretty far away, and by the time he had made it back home his mother was gone. Without hesitating he grabbed one of Kyle's blaster and sprinted out of the empty home and ran as fast as he could through the streets of Zoronhed. He made it to the docking area and came to a complete stop. His face suddenly slamed into heavy Mandalorian armor and his body instantly fell backwards to the ground landing on his back letting out air as he hit the ground. The mercenary he had ran into scolded Caden in curse words as Caden looked around the mercenary and watched the transports depart. He quickly gathered a large ammount of rage and pushed the mercenary out of his way after he had managed to lunge himself up off the ground and ran into the empty docking bay, heat from the transports thrusters scattered dust around the docking bay as Caden watched them depart into space, a strong hate and anger overcame the young man, clinching his fist with a vengeful look in his eye. Just around his early twenties the second Death Star had been destroyed, the Empire was crumbling, and this would either make it easier or harder to find out what happened to his mother. Kyle and Caden had gone there seperate ways, he still races swoops on Zonju V. Kyle understood what he had to do, knowing he could never leave he trusted Caden to find the truth. Kyle gave him his custom Mobquest S-Flare swoop with top speeds up to 650 km/h, incase he needed to acquire credits on his journey. Caden didn't really think he'd need it for what he wanted to do but accepted the gift appreciatively. After Caden sold his old swoop he took a shuttle to Corellia in search of answeres. Instead, what he found was trouble. After a few years of no luck and no answeres Caden became frustrated feeling he would never know what happened that day. He became involved with the wrong people, smuggling and gambling was now his fortitude. Spacing illegal goods to pirate orginizations for whatever they may need, Caden had become a smuggler, and eventualy thrown into combat due to some "bad transactions". A couple people he thought really had his back, and became his partners, pirates mainly. They introduced something to him that the adrenaline junkie Caden immediately fell in love with, star-fighters. His first one was a Z-95 Headhunter, later on he piloted stolen X-Wings and Y-Wings. And eventualy onto light freighters. This new talent opened his career up to new opportunities, escorting smuggling goods and engaging in dogfights was more thrilling than just flying a shuttle or a transport to it's drop off. A decade later gone by, Caden meets an Imperial Officer that changed his life. On a routine smuggling job on Kuat Caden stops by a pub for a quick drink and immediatly pauses at the door. A couple drunk Imperial Officers were shouting at the patrons and the bar tender, saying they were with the Empire and they could do whatever they wanted to. One lady had stepped away from the bar only to stop at the force of one of the officers grabbing ahold of her arm and attempted to harrass her. Quickly Caden pulled the blaster he had hidden under his coat and took them both down. After this, he had realized... he needed to get off that Imperial planet FAST. Running as quick as he could he made it back to the small freighter he came in which was still being unloaded, without warning the ship lifts off the grabbing causing one of the thugs who was still unloading jump off the loading ramp and back on dock with cargo falling out. Luckily he had made it out of the atmosphere and entered Hyperspace cordinates for Corellia. The incident made him rethink his life, and the path he had been following didn't feel like it was the right one. He remembered then his mother, who she used to be and what she stood for. Beside the fact she went through a spiral depression and huge drinking binge, it became clear what his calling was. Something in side of him that he always wanted, not for himself but for the world. Looking outside of where he came from, and who he grew up around, past that perspective and what was right and just. Not to let the suffer suffer anymore, to do something about it, to fight for good. To fight for, freedom. At Corellia on Coronet he ended there with no money, leaving his last operation like that without recieving payment had made him broke. He ended up scrapping the junk freighter he got from the pirates for a couple thousand credits and sold his swoop for 5,000 credits used. That would get him enough to make it to Citadel Station and some left over. His destination, the NR recruitment office.Family
