- Initially a coward, he was mocked and haunted by Boo and his friends. Eventually, he made a deal with Bowser: power and immortality for eternal servitude. He then developed a taste for Boos. However, Mario found Tubba Blubba's Heart, battled and managed to make it run to Tubba Blubba, making him feel invincible, but actually removing his invincibility. Mario then quickly defeated Tubba Blubba, and he then reveals that he is actually very sensitive.
- Tubba Blubba is a character and boss from the Nintendo 64 game, Paper Mario. He is a Clubba who enjoys eating Boos, though he was once a big scaredy cat before then. He was "invincible", thanks to the powers of the Star Rod Bowser stole, until Mario defeated his heart. Then his heart ran back to Tubba and he was able to be defeated by Mairo. Once he was defeated, he ran away and released all of the Boos that he engulfed over the years.

Mario soon discovered that a talking key named Yakkey unlocks the door at Windy Mill, where the secret to Tubba Blubba's invincibility lies. Yakkey woke up Tubba Blubba, however, and he chased Mario over to the doors of the castle where many Boos from a ghost town in Gusty Gulch held the doors shut on Tubba Blubba.

Later in the story it is discovered that Tubba Blubba has a weak point and a secret item that he keeps near his bed. After Mario finds the item, it leads to a windmill that leads to Tubba Blubba's Heart, who accidentally reveals that he is the reason why Tubba Blubba is so strong in the first place. Before Mario can defeat the heart, he runs out of the windmill and reunites with Tubba Blubba. Since his heart is severely damaged, Tubba Blubba is extremely weak and is defeated in a
