- Raw Salmon is one of four varieties of Fish found in Minecraft.

Successfully cooking a salmon yields 90 cooking experience on a range, or 99 cooking experience on a fire. Salmon has also become a fish that yields some profit from buying it raw, cooking and then selling. Raw salmon are caught through fly fishing, which requires a fishing level of 30, a fly fishing rod and feathers. The fish are caught with the lure option at Lure/Bait fishing spots found in rivers. When fly fishing, the ratio of trout to salmon caught is approximately 3:2.
- Raw Salmon are a type of fish which may be caught from fishing with a fly fishing rod and feathers. They require level 30 fishing to catch. When caught they give 75 experience. They can be cooked at level 25, giving 90 experience, and healing 9 hits when eaten. Players stop burning salmon at level 58 cooking, or 55 cooking with Gauntlets of cooking. These fish can be caught in river "lure" spots at the following locations:
* Lumbridge
* Barbarian Village
* Tree Gnome Stronghold
- Raw Salmon is a food item that was introduced in 1.7. It restores the same amount of Hunger as normal Fish does. There is a cooked and a raw version of this fish. The raw version is a darker red, in contrast to the cooked salmon's orange.
- There are 10 fishing locations at which salmon can be caught:
* Barbarian Village: On the east side of the village is the River Lum. In the river are some spots where players can lure and bait fish. The spots are grouped into two areas, one south near the bridge and another in the small peninsula north of that. There will always be two fishing spots available spread between these two areas. Several trees grow a bit off to the side of this location. This is probably the closest fly fishing spot to a bank in free to play, with both the north western varrock and grand exchanges banks being in relatively close proximity.
* Lumbridge: In the centre of Lumbridge is the River Lum. On the eastern side of the river (opposite side from the castle) are some spots where players can lure and bait

Successfully cooking a salmon yields 90 Cooking experience on a range, or 99 cooking experience on a fire. In the more populated fishing spots where salmon and trout can be lured, free salmon and trout can be obtained from the players that grind Fishing levels there, as many drop countless trout and salmon so that they can free up their inventories and thus continue shoring up their Fishing experience.
