Synopsis
| - Chuck Lane requests the court to parole the toughest juvenile offender into his custody, hoping the gesture will lead him to some tire thieves.
- During a city's blackout curfew, the Dean of Darkness kidnaps Carol Martin for ransom, not realizing she's Wildfire.
- When The Professor injects Doc Wackey with some experimental fluids, the Doc ends up with super speed, and begins a life of crime by partnering with gangster Skull Duggery.

| - * This is the final Golden Age appearance of Wildfire. She was originally intended to be a member of the All-Star Squadron, but DC vetoed the idea, as there was already a character called Wildfire active in another team book. Instead, a female heroine named Firebrand was introduced into the All-Star Squadron series.
