It can also be use to signal "hello", "goodbye", " 'till next time", "take care", "Alright!."
- Shaka was an individual referenced in the Children of Tama language metaphorical phrases, "Shaka. When the walls fell." These phrases were used as a metaphor for failure. (TNG: "Darmok" ) This character was only mentioned in dialogue. According to the script , Shaka was pronounced as "SHAH-kah".
- Shaka had been seen by Nobundo many times, though they had only spoken on brief occasions. He had always found her pleasant and engaging. She was one of the draenei who remained behind in Shattrath City, and one of the last draenei to be killed after the city had fallen. She was first beaten and tortured by the orcs, then unceremoniously tossed into the Lower City mass grave, her throat cut. Nobundo witnessed her death, and the guilt of his inability to help her haunted his dreams and echoed in his mind for a long time afterwards.
- Shaka is the leader of Sham Lash, an assassins's guild and Parthevia's undercover unit, which were Ja'far, Vittel, and Mahad part of. He's been reassigned to Barbarossa's Four Heavenly Generals.
