Born in Glasgow in 1976, Laura got involved in the theatre in her youth as was part of the Scottish Youth Theatre before studying at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. Laura began acting for film and TV in the mid-90s where she had a few breakout roles on the BBC series Neverwhere. Since then she has gone on to appear in the films Vanilla Sky, A Knight's Tale, and The Boys are Back.
