The episode was called 'Abhijeet in Jail' in which in Abhijeet was proved innocent by KD Pathak in Adaalat.

From July 29, 2012 "C.I.D" will be telecasted on three days i.e. Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 10:00 P.M. C.I.D. originally aired on Wednesdays at 9:30 pm IST before being moved to its current time slot in 2001. From its debut until March 3, 2006 the series format consisted of half-hour episodes with each case being split across two episodes with the exception of several multi-part cases and crossovers with C.I.D. Special Bureau in 2005. On March 10, 2006 the format was changed to one-hour episodes with each case being covered in a single episode. The episode air time has since been increased to around 90 minutes. As of July 01, 2012, 843 episodes and 631 cases of C.I.D. have aired, counting the special episodes. Seven C.I.D sub-series have been aired; Chase, Dhoom, Asambhav, Rakht Chinha, Veerta and Kids' Special.
