Xanians believe that mankind was created by a singular, living God, who created mankind to live and experience the joys and hardships of life as a way of expressing their humanity and their free will in line with the will of God through the teachings of his prophet, Xanus. In this way, Zheani was established to serve as a guide on the ethical and social behavior the God of Zheani found appropriate for his creations. To reach this realm of eternal life, however, one must adhere to the moral codes described in the Zhantana and codified into Zheanic law, which cover virtually all aspects of life and society for adherents of Zheani, ranging from family life, warfare, banking, education, and the welfare of others. Zheani is relatively unique in that it is one of the few major religions of the world, and often toted as the only religion in the world, where there exist no deviations from the original teachings of its founder, and where the followers of the faith are totally united in their doctrine and teachings. There are no other branches, schools of thought, or heresies within Zheani, giving many adherents a sense of fellowship and brotherhood, and those outside of the religion the belief that it may in fact be the true religion of God. Currently, there are more than 120 million members of the Zheanic faith, making Zheani the fifth-largest religion in the world. Xanians are spread all across the globe, but many of them have congregated in the United States, Russia, Japan, and South Korea.
