For the 2004-05 season the Huntsville team changed to the Huntsville Havoc of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) where Dan played from 2006 to 2008, with brief stops with the Memphis Riverkings and Youngstown Steelhounds of the Central Hockey League (CHL). Dan has since played with the Fayettville FireAntz and the Louisiana IceGators and most recently played for the Pensacola Ice Flyers, all of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL).
