Squollyhawlks were massive worm-like creatures native to Arorua. One nearly killed Obi-Wan Kenobi during his visit there in 44 BBY. A false face located on top of the squollyhawlk's head was meant to make its prey believe that it was a smaller creature hiding in the foliage. It would then ambush the unsuspecting prey. Squollyhawlks were vulnerable to having their mandibles smashed; if this happened, they would be unable to eat and would die.
