Richard Whitehead Young (April 19, 1858 – December 27, 1919) was a U.S. Army Brigadier General and an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the Philippines during the time that the Philippines was a U.S. Territory. He reentered the military during the Spanish-American War, and led the Utah Light Artillery in the Philippines. When the war ended, he was appointed as an Associate Justice of the U.S. Territory of the Philippines Supreme Court. He later returned to private legal practice, acting as attorney for the Idaho Sugar Company (later becoming the Utah-Idaho Sugar Company).
