The Chasseur class was a class of four destroyers of the French Navy built between 1909–1910, used during the First World War. A fifth ship was sold to Peru. Apart from Chasseur, which still used coal, they were the first French Navy ships to be fitted with oil-fired boilers. In trials they exceeded their designed power by a wide margin, achieving speeds of up to .
