Daisuke Kurama personally leads a group of shinobi in assisting The Surprise Attack Division. They arrive just in time to stop a reincarnated Hideyoshi from killing Reitō. Part of their group heals Reitō and his men, others engage Daichi Nara Tatsumaki Yari, and Daisuke focuses his efforts on Hideyoashi. Daisuke defeats Hideyoshi, who resolves to commit seppuku, giving the Sealing Team a chance to restrain him. Then they focus their efforts on sealing the other reincarnated shinobi.
