Sereina(VDF139) was born on November 29, 2009 in the Drie Doring Mob. Her mother was Mist but her father was an unknown rover, maybe from the Frisky. Sereina was born in a litter of four pups, she had two litter-mate sisters named Salina(VDF140) and Medleina(VDF142) and a brother named Ursli(VDP141). The Drie Doring was a good size mob with many adults so the pups had a better chance at survival. Sereina's mother was the dominant female of the Drie Doring, so the pups were the main focus of the mob. Sereina and her litter-mates survived to adulthood without much event. Sereina and her sisters started to attach rovers to the group, so Mist started to evict them whenever she was pregnant. In February 2011 Sereina, Salina and Medleina were expelled and were considered Last Seen. However two years later, Sereina and her sister Medleina were seen in a wild group near the Drie Doring. It is unknown who the dominant female was and their sister Salina was not with the group. One of the females was callared and tracking began. The researchers planned to start habituation soon after.
