Andrew P. Sykes is an author & teacher. In 2010 he cycled to southern Italy from his home in southern England. The journey was the inspiration for the popular cycling travelogue Good Vibrations: Crossing Europe on a Bike Called Reggie (ISBN: 978-1849142137). He also writes and edits the cycling-themed website CyclingEurope.org. Andrew P. Sykes was born and grew up in the small town of Elland in the foothills of the Pennines in West Yorkshire. He studied for a degree in mathematics at the University of York and immediately after graduation went to work in London for a firm of city accountants.
