- Resonance increases the pin ATK of a represented brand by 20%, which is the equivalent of being the #3 brand in an area. This is a boost that is separate from trend and SOS modifiers. For example, a brand that is #1 one in an area will have pin ATK multiplied by 2.0, then by 1.2, granting a pin ATK of 240% of the original. Due to rounding, the damage output may be a few HP less than expected, but is usually only -1 HP for most pins. There are thirteen Resonance psychs, one for each brand.

- In a filter circuit, feeding back the output signal, at a reduced amplitude, to its input. In the types of filter circuits usually used in synths, resonance has the effect of increasing the slope of the filter, and of creating an emphasis peak near the center or cutoff frequency, which makes frequencies at that peak louder. Some types of filters will, at a sufficiently high resonance setting, self-oscillate.

- Resonance, as defined in a Miriadic context is the flow of information (memes) or energy (aether) from one point to another without dissonance or distortion. This principle also describes the harmonic interaction of two dynamically seperate systems. It is almost synonymous with R. Buckminster Fuller's idea of synergy of systems, however the Miriadic principle of Resonance describes something meta-physical while Fuller's ideas describe something more physical.
- Resonance is accomplished in a fashion that is inspired by techniques such as Dance of the Seedling Fern and Demonic Mirroring Ice Crystals. More specifically, both of these skills involve the user merging with a secondary medium to manipulate their movement capabilities. Unfortunately, Kazuhide's initial attempts to achieve the same feat though various mediums all failed. Eventually, he recognized that there was a lack of synchronization between his own existence and the medium, which was not an issue with the previously mentioned techniques. This is due to the fact that the maneuvers utilized a medium generated one with their own chakra, rather than one simply found in the environment. Since synchronizing with one's own chakra is far simpler, Kazuhide began employing chakra-based constru
- Resonance heals from the highest hit taken on any given tick, while the other hits deal full damage. When damage is converted to healing by this ability, the hit will still register, but it will be reduced to 1. If the hit is meant to deal 1 damage by any means (including through the effects of Devotion), the player is not healed, the damage is still dealt, and the effect is not consumed. Resonance does not prevent players from being stunned, but the damage associated with the stunning attack is mitigated and provides healing as expected.
- Resonance (共振) is an Oscillation-Type Magic that breaks up its target by finding the object's self-resonance frequency, and applying and amplifying that oscillation causing the resulting forces disintegrating it. The first person displaying this magic was Kitayama Shizuku in the Light Novel series. Her proficiency with Resonance is the result of her mother's training, who specialized in this spell.
- Resonance is the quasi-magical force of the Matrix. It allows for the creation of technomancers, technocritters, sprites, and the resonance realms. It is possible otaku and AIs are also touched by resonance. The process of being attuned to resonance is called emergence. Emergence did not occur until after Crash 2.0 and the reasons for why and how emergence occurs are unknown.
