Bush was praised by conservatives for his appointment of conservatives to the United States Supreme Court, particularly Clarence Thomas, Edith Jones, and Michael Luttig. Bush has been criticized by liberals because of the reversal of Roe vs. Wade in 1995. In spite of this, Bush continued in his polices, lending America's military might to stop genocide in Rwanda, Yugoslavia and South Sudan thereby gaining much praise worldwide.
