Mana Sitting is simply standing in one place while your mana regenerates. People do this for many different reasons: * Regenerate mana for hunting * Making Runes * Training Magic Level * Waiting for respawn while Spawn Camping Mana sitting usually occurs near a depot or in front of someone's house or guildhall, since you then are near somewhere you can store food. However, manasitting can be done anywhere. Sometimes people will mana sit for an extended period of time, usually AFK for part of the time, except to eat food and cast spells.

Before Soul Points were implemented in the 7.5 update, it was more common to find Druids and/or Sorcerers using illegal software while mana sitting and making runes. A large group of druids or sorcerers doing this was called a Druid Farm or a Rune Farm. Since the introduction of Resting Area bonuses with Summer Update 2017, mana sitting has become attractive once again because of the permanent double regeneration.
