| - Satele swiftly departed from he perch, her lightsaber in hand. She cascaded down at the JKH Droids dispatching each with overwhelming ease. Her blade struck again and again, each time striking harder and with more force behind it. One of the Sith Sabers prepared to launch lightning at Jacken but her redirected the Dark Side Energy so it hit the user instead. As the electricity danced across the Sith’s body Jacken ignited his dual sabers and maneuvered his way towards his foe. The saber barely had time to react and got hi blade up just in time, but the force of the blow knocked him to the ground. He grabbed the Saber’s saber from his foes hand and impaled him foe. Satele had downed all four JKH Droids and was fighting with the Sith Master. Their blades collided with enough power to crack aluminum. The noise from the battle outside filled the room: blasters being deflected by lightsabers. The ground shook beneath the Jedi and Sith’s feet. Even the rockets were being thrown back at the users. Artemis and Amie were downing the Sith Saber while Alicia ran outside to aid with the second wave. Jacken ran after her in order to help. Satele smashed the Sith Master in the temple with her hilt then whirled her blade in a decapitating slice. The first wave was down but the second was raging out the door. — — — Once the Jedi had exited the Republic Base it was six Jedi versus five Sith. “Satele Shan.” I know that voice anywhere, “Malgus.” Satele drew her Green saber close to her body. The two warriors attacked each other: Satele from above, Malgus defending from below. “How did you escape Alderaan?” “The force isn’t only with Jedi, Satele Shan.” Lightning erupted from Malgus’s palm and tore towards Satele but was blocked by her saber. Recreas had managed to get past the Jedi and free Daanea. It was now six versus six. Amie was slightly annoyed that she had told General Garza to take her ship and return to Coruscant. She wasn’t annoyed that she had taken her ship but the fact that she was gone. We sure could’ve used a tactical genius. Amie didn’t like her chances against a Sith Master. We’ll, not the Sith Master she was currently fighting. “Angral, another one from the left!” The Sith Master Amie was fighting, Darth Angral, looked to his left and saw the fast-moving figure of Master Ki’leo whirling his blade at high speed. Angral caught Ki’leo’s blade on his own and launched a sweeping kick in Amies direction. The kick never hit and Amie slashed downwards cutting of the Sith Lord’s leg. The Two Jedi departed the Sith Lord and went to aid their allies. — — — The battle was over in about ten minutes. Two of the Sith were killed with Malgus, Recreas, Angral and Daanea surviving. “That was successful,” Amie smiled. “Not so Jedi Taro. We lost Mater Ki’leo.” The Jedi surrounded the body of the deceased Jedi Master and bowed their heads. “He always was tied to Ilum. If he ever died, I think he would’ve wanted it to be here. We shall bury him here too.” “Master, we just got a transmission from Tython. There’s been an attack on the temple.” The Temple was scared by the attack. An army of sixty Sith had endangered the Jedi by assaulting the training rooms in hope of taking the next generation away from the Jedi. Luckily, Jedi Masters were around and they fought, but many were lost. “We should’ve known that they’d target the younglings. Taking the Holocron should’ve been an obvious sign.” “Jacken, there is a force sensitive on Hutta named Alpha Tezra. We must get him. Alicia, go to Corellia and Artemis, go to Tatooine.” “Why must we go to these places, specifically?” “They are the future Jedi Masters of the Order.” Jacken looked at his friends, “This is important then. I will leave first thing tomorrow.” The Night slipped past faster then Jacken had anticipated. Dawn was rising and he knew he couldn’t stay much longer. Hutta! Why could this Alpha be at Alderaan or Corellia? Getting prepped was simple; actually knowing where to go and what to do was the hard part. Jacken Skywalker’s personal Starship, Dawn. — — — The Dawn came out of Hyperspace, the distorted streaks of starts become, once more, floating blobs in the universe. The ship was a magnificent Orange and White with a beskar hull. The planet ‘Glorious Jewel’, or as it was known as in Huttese, Hutta, was a conquered planet. Neither the Sith Empire nor the Galactic Republic had a hold over the planet, it was ruled and governed by the Hutts. Here you can see our amazing sewage fountains and natural features, Jacken chuckled to himself as the ship cascaded down to Hutta. The Force presence of Alpha Tezra was increasing rapidly, Jacken could almost make out his features. The ship entered the atmosphere. Jacken could sense where he was now, all he knew at that moment was that he didn’t like how things were looking, he’s in a cell! The prison where Alpha was being held was no hike from the landing platforms that Jacken had chosen. Jacken could now feel Alpha’s surroundings. He moved his attention from the young, scared boy to his surroundings. Mandalorian warriors wearing beskar were guarding him. Things just keep getting better and better. Jacken shifted into a position where he could visually see the Mandalorians. Twelve warriors stood clad in their armor. He could make out the Mand’alore. He was too wearing gold and red colored beskar. Jacken couldn’t help but notice that they were looking rather smug. “Area’s secure Mand’alore,” said one of the Mandalorians to the Mand’alore’s left. “Keep looking. This Jedi will be here soon. When he arrived, he’s mine.” “Yes Mand’alore.” Realization struck finally struck home. Oh, they’re expecting me. Jacken reached for his rifle, time to break the ice. Even though Jacken was a Jedi, he was also an expert marksman. The force helped with that too. The carnage had begun as soon as Jacken fired his rifle. It hadn’t taken him long to realize that the Mandalorians had a weak spot in their armor just above their neck. But the Mandalorians were smart. Before the second shot could be fired, they had dived to cover. In an instant, Jacken had Mandalorians all over him. His lightsaber was merely licking their amour as he dived from side to side. As the Mando’s bought out the big guns, blood drained from Jacken’s face. He barely had time to dodge the missile, which exploded on impact next to him. Jacken landed on the ground, his left arm scarred and bloody from the missile. The Jedi Knight bought his blade up to deflect the fire, sending them tearing back towards their weapons…and those whom were holding them. Jacken was so occupied that he never realized the Mand’alore coming up behind him. Pain exploded within him as he saw thousands of multi-colored lights blaze his vision. All was white. — — — As soon as the Jedi Knights eyes opened, he instantly cradled his left arm. It had a gaping hole in it. How’d that get there? A small boy sat in the cell next to Jacken, his head was buried in his knees and he was sobbing. “Alpha Tezra?” The boys sobbing ceased and his head lifted curiously, “How did you know my name?” He wiped the occasional tear from his eye. “I’m Jacken Skywalker, Jedi Knight, currently being trained by Grand Jedi Master Satele Shan.” Excitement welled up within Alpha as his past issues were forgotten, “So? “Alpha, I’m here to rescue you.” Alpha stood up, he was about seven. “Took you long enough.” Jacken stifled a laugh and pointed towards the guard, “does he have my lightsaber?” Alpha nodded. When it came to getting to the point of a conversation, Alpha was quick and concise. This made him good Jedi material. “Guard, what’s your name.” Jacken smothered his words with the force. “Iwa Gnar,” the guard responded as if he were infatuated. “We have really stiff legs and can hardly walk around in here. Do you think we could have a quick walk?” Iwa shrugged, “I guess it can’t hurt.” The energy for Jacken’s cell flickered then was deactivated. He launched a force-augmented kick at the Mandalorian’s head concussing him instantaneously. Alpha walked out of his cell slowly. His legs were shaking; he was weak. “Alpha, I can feel more coming. He must have had a pressure sensor,” he muttered the last words. Jacken extended his force powers to support Alpha’s weak legs so he could keep up. Jacken ran around the first turn throwing flurries of blows at the Mando’s. “Cool!” Alpha stared in awe. “Killing is not cool Alpha, you’ll need to learn that.” “Are you taking me to…” “Tython, yes.” Alpha smiled, “I was going to say the Jedi Temple, but Tython works.” “You have an amazing intellect for a seven year old.” Alpha was panting from the speed they were traveling at, “I’m eight. And what does intelleuct-“ “Intellect,” Jacken corrected, “That doesn’t matter at the present time.” Alpha was starting to draw on the force to keep up his speed. “When did you learn?” Alpha sighed, “My brother taught me when I was younger, but he died five years ago.” About the same time as Artemis’s brother died, “I’m sorry.” He shrugged, “I never really knew him.” The hallway was becoming increasingly narrow forcing the duo to run single file. Jacken made sure he was behind Alpha. — — — The duo had escaped the prison and made it outside. Jacken was ht by a surprising feeling in the force. He’s here. “Who’s here?” Jacken shook his head. It was unheard of that a child such as Alpha hadn’t been trained as his powers amazed Jacken. “We’re in trouble Alpha. The Sith are here for you. I’m guessing they want you for the same reason we want you.” Alpha nodded, “Artus, the head Mando guy, said he was holding me for a Darth Malgus.” That sounds about right, Jacken sighed. “Alpha, they’re going to get us. I can’t stop that.” — — — Jacken swiftly exerted a push, which smashed transparisteel into the oncoming columns of Mando’s. Jacken could feel the Sith behind them, he could feel his old captor, Darth Malgus, behind the Sith. The blades clashed in an eruption of sparks, vibroblades skimmed Jacken’s skin making small cuts, which only slightly impaired his attack force. The Sith were starting to follow in the Mando’s wake, their red blades were flying around their bodies, Jacken couldn’t block all of them, he couldn’t block any of them. Jacken bought out his trump card. It was a transmitter, one powerful enough to reach Tython. The only flaw was that it needed large amounts of energy. Amounts like lots of Siths lightsabers. Elecricity leapt form the Siths weapons to the transmitter. It quickly released its transmitting telling the Jedi everything. The Sith would have more then just a single Jedi on their hands, they’d have a agitated Grand Master. “Eat Saber.” Jacken stabbed him blade into a Sith’s mouth and kicked him away. Stun bolts catapulted towards him at high speed taking him down. Malgus stood over Jacken’s body. He scanned the area for Alpha but couldn’t find him visually or in the force. “Scan the area, the other is missing.” The Sith bowed to Malgus and ran in different directions. Alpha was standing in a structure directly above, masking his presence in the force. He was holding a rifle, which was seriously over proportionate to his size, “for Jedi Skywalker.” Bolts rained down on the Sith below whom bought their blades up to block. Some Mando’s were blasted. Malgus sighed, These Jedi just keep getting more stubborn. Satele stood over the Temples communicator, she was playing Jacken’s message over and over again. “We must find Jedi Skywalker. Malgus could break him for what he did to Danai Six years ago.” A Bothan Jedi Master, Algus Eckkla, nodded, “he still has rage, Jedi Skywalker. He worries me.” “His destiny is greater then any of ours. We need to trust him, or the fate of the Jedi rests in the hands of those who aren’t strong enough to wield it. For every choice has a large and often unforeseen repercussion.”
