A. C. Grayling is an influential British academic and moral philosopher. As an Atheist Grayling believes religious groups are too influential and that religions should not be more influential than other groups with comparable numbers. This is unlikely to impress believers since Monotheists tend to believe that they are on a mission from God while Polytheists see themselves on a mission from all the gods and goddesses. Grayling believes scientists should decide issues like stem cell research and treatment.
