Chaos spawns are monsters in ADOM. Along with battle bunnies, they are among the most annoying breeders in the game. They multiply extremely fast; meaning they are likely to be killed in very large numbers and thus gain levels really quickly. They have very to-hit and often penetrate armor; and though their attacks don't deal much damage, the frequency at which they score hits is still worrying since each damaging hit corrupts the PC.
