Brother Shon was a member of the Blue Lantern Corps. When Odym was attacked by The Reach, Saint Walker tasked Shon with hiding and then finding help. In Shon's journey he encounters the Scarabs that encase the worlds they are sent to and he lost all hope. His ring deeming him hopeless, it left his hand and let him fall to his death.
