The Second Galactic Empire was the Galactic Government that succeeded the First Galactic Empire unofficially in 5 ABY shortly after the Duel in the Imperial Palace and a year after the Space Battle of Endor, it was recognised officially during the Marcus Lai's Coronation in 11 ABY during the Peace Treaty between the Imperial Remnant and the New Republic after the Thrawn campaign, the Second Galactic Empire had since moved its Capital into the Unknown Regions onto the world known as Diluculo in the Diluculo system.
