Nicholas Aurelius (also nicknamed "Old Nick") was a businessman from Detroit, USA. a member of the board of General Motors also influential within several other companies, he merged them in 2002 to create Ares Industries. He headed the corporation as CEO and Chairman of the Board from 2002 to 2023, and again from 2028 to 2030. As such he was among the first generation of corporate moguls to benefit from corporate extraterritoriality. He died from a heart failure in 2033. His son Leonard Aurelius remained a major shareholder of Ares until 2059, though Damien Knight took control of the corporation.
