The Ticonderoga-class Cruiser was developed when the Loris Empire (then known as the Loris Alliance) realized that heavy destroyers had taken a forefront in their navy. When the Loris Alliance went to war with the Empire they saw that the only thing breaching the gap between the destroyers and the frigates was a small number of Strike Cruisers and Dreadnaughts. The ship would become so successful that two variants of it would be developed; the Ticonderoga A, and the Ticonderoga D.
